THE "WHEN"

SATURDAY THE 21ST OF JUNE

TWO THOUSAND AND FOURTEEN

AT 3:30 IN THE AFTERNOON

CAMPBELL VALLEY REGIONAL PARK

 

OLD ORCHARD PICNIC AREA

LANGLEY, BC

DIRECTIONS TO CAMPBELL VALLEY REGIONAL PARK - OLD ORCHARD PICNIC AREA:

 

  • IF you are travelling From Highway 1, take the Langley City - 200th Street South exit (#58). Travel south for 15.5 km and turn east onto 8th Avenue and follow the signs to the park.

  • IF you are travelling From Highway 99, take the 8th Avenue East exit (#2), travel east 7.5 km and follow park signs.

Click on the PDF below to get a Map you can print up of the Cambpbell Valley Regional Park to help guide you to the picnic area.  There is parking right adjacent to the picnic area.  

THE "WHAT"
aka the plan
THE BBQ / PICNIC / WEDDING PLAN

 

3:30 PM - You show up wearing your most casual bbq / picnic  attire (eatin' pants required). Claim a picnic table or a picnic blanket for you and your kin.

 

3:59 PM - Limber up in anticipation of the various picnic games you will play....and the excessive eating you will be doing.

 

4:00 PM - Commence with the stuffing of your face.....be sure to every once in a while step away from your plate to go socialize and play a picnic game....remember...pace yourself

 

5:15 PM - Groan and get yourself off the ground...or picnic table...or whatever horizontal surface you have draped yourself over, and somehow manage to walk yourself the 1 minute it takes to get to the wedding ceremony site (you won't be able to miss it...clearly marked with all sort of signs).

 

5:30 PM - Smile indulgently and control the overwhelming urge to tear up as you watch Gordon and Marta  get their official hitchin' ceremony on.....actually you know what...don't control the urge...feel free to tear up...it is healthy. 

 

5:35 PM - Hoot and holler and cheer along with everyone as we rush back to the food tables to tackle the dessert portion of the festivities....if you cave at this point so help you we will both judge you for the rest of your life...remember we warned you to pace yourself.

 

5:36 PM to Whenever - Dance, Play games, Relax, Have fun, Socialize, Let the bride and groom take pics of you.....and Eat some more
